What exactly is STK Push (Lipa na M-Pesa Online)?

STK Push is the flow Kenyan customers already know: they enter their phone number on your website, a payment prompt pops up on their phone, they enter their M-Pesa PIN, and the payment confirms in seconds. No paybill numbers to type, no account numbers to get wrong, no screenshots of confirmation SMS to verify manually.

Do I need my own Paybill or Till number?

You need an M-Pesa Paybill or Buy Goods Till registered to your business, plus Daraja API credentials from Safaricom. If you don't have them yet, we walk you through the application (it typically takes a few days) and handle the technical go-live checklist — callback URLs, IP allowlisting and production testing.

What happens when a customer pays but the confirmation never arrives?

This is where most DIY integrations fail. Safaricom callbacks occasionally get lost, and a payment then sits 'pending' forever while the customer has already been charged. Our integration ships with an automatic reconciliation job that re-queries Daraja every few minutes and resolves every stranded payment — paid, failed or cancelled — so nothing stays stuck and no customer pays twice.

Can you integrate M-Pesa into my existing website or system?
