The Webzilla Story
I've been building software professionally since 2019. Over the years I worked across fintech startups, e-commerce platforms, and enterprise systems — learning what separates a website that exists from one that works and actually grows a business.
The turning point was seeing a Kenyan retailer lose thousands of shillings in sales every week because their website went down every time traffic spiked — and no one around them knew how to fix it. I fixed it in a day. That's when I understood the gap.
Most web agencies in Kenya are design studios that outsource the hard parts or use no-code builders. When something breaks — a payment gateway, an API, a database query that runs for 30 seconds — they can't help. I built Webzilla Creators to be different: a one-stop shop run by an actual engineer, not just a designer.
